How Exit-Intent Detection Works?
- On Desktop
On desktop, exit-intent popups are triggered by tracking mouse movements—typically when the cursor moves toward the browser’s back button or address bar. This behavior signals that the user might be about to leave.
- On Mobile (We're cooking up these features right now! Want to be the first to know when they’re ready? Just drop us a message here, we’d love to keep you in the loop!)
Because there’s no cursor on mobile, the system uses other cues such as:
- Tapping the browser’s address bar
- Switching tabs
- Rapid upward scrolling
- Inactivity for a period of time
👉 These signals intend to exit, prompting the popup to appear.
