# Why Can’t I Add a Sharing Button for Instagram or TikTok?

### Instagram

Instagram is designed as a **photo and video platform**. It doesn’t support direct **URL sharing** like Facebook, Twitter, or LinkedIn. That’s why Instagram only allows you to link your **account profile** (so visitors can follow you), not share content or pages from your website.

### TikTok

TikTok works the same way. It’s focused on **short-form videos** and doesn’t support sharing external links through share buttons. Like Instagram, you can add a button to direct people to your **TikTok profile**, but not to share a website page.
